Looking for a dedicated & detail-oriented Accounting Controller to oversee the day-to-day accounting needs for our community water system. This is a contract-based role, ideal for someone in the general local area. The desired candidate will meet the following criteria:

Expertise with Quickbooks Online Advanced or Quickbooks Desktop equivalent
Perform accounting functions as required and in a punctual manner, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, quarterly billings and the general ledger in accordance with GAAP standards.
Prepare timely monthly financial statements and ensure the accuracy of all financial reporting, including year-end processes
Prepare and send out quarterly invoices to customers
Responsive to customer inquiries
